It was a rough weekend in the Rowley household. Makenzie woke up on Sunday morning feeling dizzy and sick. Her tummy didn't hurt but she wanted to lay down. We both had to teach in church so we let her stay home alone for the hour we were teaching. She did a great job of taking care of herself for the first time she was left alone. Later that evening her fever spiked to 103 with ibuprofen not helping bring it down, so we put her in the tub. The bath really helped and she felt good enough for some dinner. She went to bed feeling better but woke up feeling a lot worse. When we took her temp her fever was up again to 103. She was burning hot to touch, so again we gave her some medicine. Two hours later it was up to 104, I then called the doctor. Tait at the same time was showing signs of a fever so I was worried that the flu had hit the house. His temp was at 102 so I gave him some ibuprofen and put him to bed waiting to see what would happen. Two hours later he woke up with his temp still the same and the boogers pouring down his nose. I called the doctor and asked if they could take him also.

Well 40 dollars later we have the results of our sick kids, Makenzie has undertermined (meaning we are still waiting for the culture) Strep which could be the flu if it isn's Strep and Tait has an ear infection in each ear! Thank heavens for Trent helping at the doctor cause I could never have handled the three on my own (I'm not that strong physically to carry them all) It is good to say that both fevers are gone today and Makenzie is brightening up. Tait is still uncomfortable (we don't know if he is also teething) but shows some happy moments. My heart goes out to Colton who was a TROOPER with me. He entertained himself and was very patient when waiting for a drink. Now Trent and I are holding our breaths to make sure no one else gets sick!! Wish us luck

Hey, Do you want me to pick Colton up after work tomorrow to come and play with Brayker!!! I can keep him busy for a couple hours if you need a break. Let me know!
Sick is no fun for anyone! I feel your pain. Wishing everyone a speedy recovery...
Dang, I hate to hear about sick kids and sick families. I sure hope it doesn't spread to anyone else in your house. Here's to feeling better quick!
We need to post a biohazard sign on your front lawn. Sorry to hear about the fam and hope that you yourself get to feeling better. Maybe Trent shouldn't kiss you for a week in the hopes he doesn't get sick. Love ya, Melinda
Megan, check your email again. I did invite you to that blog. I resent the invite though. Maybe check your JUNK folder.
Will you invite Melinda, too? I don't have her email. Or send me her email and I'll invite her.
