Two songs that put our time with dad into perspective and reminds me of my parents last evening together. A year later I still cry my eyes out when I hear these on the radio. Can't tell you how much we miss this wonderful man. He was so good to let us bug and pick on him. (as you can tell in the picture, Melinda is crackin up) His sense of humor was amazing!! I am forever thankful for the wonderful memories we have of dad. Especially love having such life-like dreams with him. Thanks Melinda and Angela for a wonderful late night of memories and crying. What a healing balm.

What a special post. Certain things (such as songs) or whatever do trigger those moments where you end up bawling your eyes out. I think it is all part of the healing process after a close loved one has passed on and it helps to have those family members there healing along with you.
